TrueStory RP – Terms of Service

By accessing, joining, or playing on TrueStory RP, including our FiveM server, Discord, website, or any related services, you agree to comply with the following Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By connecting to the TrueStory RP FiveM server, joining our Discord, or purchasing any products or services related to the community, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service as well as all server rules and policies.

2. Eligibility

  • You must meet all age requirements stated in our server rules.
  • You are responsible for ensuring your Discord, Steam, FiveM, and Rockstar accounts comply with their respective Terms of Service.
  • Providing false information or impersonating others may result in removal from the community.

3. Server Rules & Conduct

  • All players are required to follow the TrueStory RP Server Rules at all times.
  • Respect toward staff and other players is mandatory.
  • Harassment, hate speech, discrimination, exploitation, cheating, or abuse of bugs or mechanics is strictly prohibited.
  • Staff decisions are final. Arguing or attempting to bypass moderation actions may result in further penalties.

4. Roleplay Standards

  • Players are expected to engage in realistic, immersive, and fair roleplay.
  • Powergaming, metagaming, fail RP, RDM, VDM, or otherwise disrupting roleplay scenarios is not allowed.
  • Characters and storylines must comply with server lore, realism standards, and staff guidance.

5. Accounts, Characters & Data

  • You are responsible for the security of your accounts.
  • Characters, progress, vehicles, currency, and items are not guaranteed and may be reset, modified, or removed for balance, updates, rule violations, or technical reasons.
  • TrueStory RP is not liable for lost data due to crashes, wipes, exploits, or updates.

6. Donations, Purchases & Monetization

  • Any purchases or donations made through approved platforms (such as Tebex) are voluntary and non-refundable unless required by law.
  • Purchased items, perks, or benefits do not grant immunity from rules or staff actions.
  • All monetization follows FiveM and platform-specific policies. Abuse of purchased items may result in removal without compensation.

7. Staff Authority

  • Staff members are appointed to maintain fairness, stability, and community standards.
  • Staff may issue warnings, kicks, bans, wipes, or other corrective actions at their discretion.
  • Abuse of staff roles by players or staff members will be investigated and handled accordingly.

8. Streaming, Recording & Content

  • By playing on TrueStory RP, you consent to being recorded or streamed by other players.
  • You may stream or record gameplay provided it does not violate server rules, expose exploits, or interfere with active roleplay.
  • Staff may request removal of content that harms the server or community.

9. Modifications & Service Availability

  • TrueStory RP may modify rules, systems, content, or services at any time.
  • Downtime, restarts, wipes, or shutdowns may occur without prior notice.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or discontinue services at any time.

10. Termination of Access

TrueStory RP reserves the right to suspend or permanently revoke access to the server or community for violations of these Terms, server rules, or platform policies, with or without notice.

11. Limitation of Liability

TrueStory RP is provided “as-is.” We are not responsible for:

  • Loss of virtual items, characters, or progress
  • Disputes between players
  • Technical issues, crashes, or third-party service failures

Participation is at your own risk.

12. Amendments

These Terms of Service may be updated at any time. Continued use of TrueStory RP after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
