📝 How to Join TrueStory RP
TrueStory RP is a whitelisted server. This helps us maintain high-quality roleplay, a respectful community, and a balanced experience for everyone.
Follow the steps below to gain access.
🔗 Step 1: Join Our Discord
All whitelist requests are handled through our official Discord server.
Join the TrueStory RP Discord
Make sure your Discord account is in good standing
Set a recognizable nickname if possible (matching your in-game name helps)
📌 Important: Whitelist requests submitted outside of Discord will not be reviewed.
📖 Step 2: Read the Rules & Information Channels
Before requesting a whitelist, you are expected to review:
- Server rules
- Roleplay expectations
- Community guidelines
You will be required to acknowledge that you’ve read and agree to the rules as part of the whitelist process. Not knowing the rules is not an excuse for breaking them.
✅ Step 3: Submit a Whitelist Request
Once you’ve read the rules:
- Navigate to the Discord channel: ✅whitelist-request
- Fill out the whitelist discussion form completely and honestly
- Submit your request and wait for staff review
Take your time with your responses. Quality answers help staff understand:
- Your RP experience
- The type of character you want to play
- Whether you’re a good fit for the server
Low-effort or incomplete applications may be delayed or denied.
🧑🤝🧑 Step 4: Community Vouching (Optional but Helpful)
If you already know players on the server:
- Ask them to vouch for you in the whitelist channel or during review
- Vouches from trusted, active players can help speed up the process
- Vouching does not guarantee approval, but it does help staff feel confident welcoming you into the community.
⏳ Step 5: Wait for Review
Whitelist reviews are handled by admins and moderators.
- Reviews are not instant
- Please be patient and respectful
- Do not DM staff asking for updates unless instructed
Once approved, you’ll receive:
- A whitelist confirmation
- Instructions on how to connect to the server
🚫 Important Notes
Do not submit multiple whitelist requests
Do not argue or harass staff over decisions
Lying on your application may result in denial or removal later
Being whitelisted means you agree to follow all server rules

- Asking questions in the appropriate Discord channels
